NOW HIRING--Field Tech I

The Wheeler Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking qualified applicants for a Field Technician I position.  Must have ability to provide technical and outreach assistance, solicit landowner conservation program participation, understand project installation requirements, conduct onsite inspections, create ArcGIS maps/layouts, experience in collecting field data.  Have ability to work independently and as part of a team, have good computer and communication skills.  Grant writing skills preferred.  Must possess a valid driver’s license.  Salary range is $30,000 - $40,000 DOE.  This is a regular full-time position, 40 hrs per week, with benefits as defined in the district personnel policy.
